It can be helpful to listen for God’s voice in the context of a community – to listen together. Here are a few options we’ve learned about – application deadlines vary. Some are specifically based in the Episcopal Church or Anglican Communion. Others are ecumenical. Please feel free to let us know of opportunities you know about; we’ll add to the list.

Based at Lambeth Palace in London
“The Community of St Anselm is one community, made up of a group of deeply committed young adults in residential and non-residential modes of membership who will experience a year of shared life, service, prayer and study that will shape the rest of their lives, equipping them to live lives of integrity in every sector of society.”

Young Adult Life & Leadership Initiative
The program description – from the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation’s website:
Young Adult Life and Leadership Initiative is for young adults (approximately ages 25-40) who seek a deeper spiritual foundation for their lives and work and who welcome the support of a like-minded community. This program is grounded in the Christian contemplative tradition yet it draws on the wisdom of many religious traditions to offer support for everyday living. In the midst of the challenges of the 21st century, this program provides concrete help in the struggle to live authentically with compassion, strength and vision.
